SMC Plant Tour Event POSTPONED!!

The plant tour event scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd has been postponed. We hope to reschedule in early 2012. We will provide a new date as soon as possible.

SMC Corporation of America provides a broad range of pneumatic and electric automation equipment to various industry segments, and is recognized as a global leader in the automation industry. They have agreed to host INTMA members for a plant tour. During this tour event, participants will have the opportunity to tour the SMC facility and engage in structured cross talk with other senior professionals on the SMC management team. Participants will view a state of the art distribution center, witness the job-shop mentality of a multi-million dollar OEM, and examine the value-add assembly operations which makes SMC tops in their industry sector.

2011 Golf Outing

INTMA's Annual Golf Outing was held on September 23rd at Hickory Stick Golf Club in Greenwood, Indiana. This year's outing was a huge success and the weather was great.

National Robotics League Competition

On May 21st and 22nd, students, educatores and industry professionals gathered in Indianapolis to participate in the 2011 National Robotics League Competition. This action packed event tested students ingenuity as they competed with their own mechanical creations. This year the event was extended to a two-day program that aligns industry and education to help students develop high-tech careers. The event was held at the VU Aviation Technology Center, located at the Indianapolis International Airport.
