Training, Training, Training -

"Smart Companies invest in their people!"

How much are you spending on that new machine?

How much are you spending to educate the employee who operates that machine?

More money is spent on the freight of a new machine than is spent in training an employee for one year! Apprenticeship training classes offer the training your employees need for just over  $1,000 per year.

The Indianapolis Chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association partners with Ivy Tech Community College-Central Indiana to offer classroom training for apprentices in this industry. This four-year program offers training in blueprint reading, measuring, math, CNC and shop theory. Upon completion of the entire program (48 credit hours), students will receive a NTMA certificate of completion, if all requirements have been met.

Students whose sponsoring company is registered with the U.S. Department of Labor Apprenticeship training will also be eligible to receive their certificate.

New classes start each year in January and August.  Class schedules are available days and evenings to accommodate various work shifts.
