INTMA Plant Tour at Ganassi Racing Facility

On September 18th a group of machining professionals gathered for a plant tour at the Ganassi Racing facility. Attendees were given an inside look at this world class organization and given a chance to interact with the employees both during the tour and while eating lunch.

Ganassi's workforce made it obvious that two major elements for reaching the 'winner's circle' are team chemistry and innovation. Getting the right people in the the right places on a team can be a difficult task to which many business owners can relate. Taking new ideas and having a plan to test them can also be a challenge.

We were extremely thankful to Ganassi for allowing us this opportunity and equally grateful that we had such a wonderful turnout.

2008 Goals

2008 Goals...

We have many plans for the INTMA this year and anticipate that 2008 will be another great year for this association.

We will continue to hold plant tour events to give you the opportunity to improve your operation. We will also continue our membership meetings, where our focus will be to provide industry specific information as well as important business strategies.

We will be scheduling member evaluations this year. You can expect an email notification followed by a call from our office to set the time and date for your company meeting. Our Executive Director will conduct each evaluation. Many thanks to those companies that have already participated!

If increasing your company's awareness is important to you, contact the INTMA office as we are continuing to offer the comprehensive "Company Profile" opportunity in each issue of the INTMA's Tooling & Machining Magazine. This is an incredible opportunity for your business to increase it's exposure and show off it's capabilities. The office staff will perform the interviews, work with you to create a theme and write the cover story with your input.

Remember that the INTMA will add value to your operation, but participation is the key element to success! Let us know if you have an idea for a meeting, the magazine, or any other event that would benefit your business. We are here to serve you!
